2025 Summer Sewing and Upcycling Camp SHORT DAY 6/23/25- 6/27/25 9am- 12:00pm 5 day/15 hour camp)
This selection is for 9am-12 pm only M-F 6/23/25 - 6/27/25. Camp is located inside the St Elizabeth’s School on the second floor. Students will enjoy learning the joy of sewing and creating textile art. Students will learn the fundamentals of hand and machine sewing. Students will learn how to cut and measure fabrics to create projects of their choice. Students will have the choice of creating: a bag/tote, purse, pillow, animal stuffies, simple skirt, pants, top, zippered pouch, pillow case or blanket. Students will be guided to complete the project(s) of their choice. Fabric is not included, but sewing supplies and use of sewing machines and paints is provided.
Completion of projects is dependent of each child’s abilities. STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED TO BRING AT LEAST 3 YARDS OF COTTON FABRIC OF THEIR CHOICE.
